Dunkin': Print Ads
When I wasn’t sorting out perfect sprinkles for photoshoots or building out every POP asset, I got to work on one-offs like these. The print ad on the left was a promotional advertisement from Dunkin' Donuts for The Ad Club's 2016 Women's Leadership Forum. Working with acopywriter, we developed the slogan to emphasize practical coffee consumption in tandem with the events message: "Filter Coffee. NOT ASPIRATIONS. It serves as a congratulatory message to the event's participants. So as not to water down the message, I selected the background image- simple black coffee.
The print ad on the right was for the Superbowl! My wonderful copywriter and I played on the idea of “glass half full”- the text in grey shows the empty part of the cup- with copy like “We’re doomed” and “Sunday’s gonna be a disaster.” However, with the Dunkin’ brew remaining in the bottom half of the cup, we have positive copy: “We’re destined. Sunday’s going to be amazing.” For such a simple design, this is one of my all time favorites.
